Watch: Rae Morris – “Do You Even Know?”
Returning in January with her stunning single “Skin“, Rae Morris effortlessly broke back onto the breakthrough artist radar around which she has been justifiably floating for some time.
Now the young Blackpool-born singer-songwriter has unveiled a second track from her forthcoming debut, due for its Atlantic release in the coming months. “Do You Even Know” follows-on from its predecessor with Morris’ honeyed, characteristic vocal taking centre-stage atop subtle pop-production with delightfully moreish results.
Born out of the “discomfort and awkwardness of feeling misunderstood”, her gently passionate cries of “Do you even know that I keep it within” ensure the chorus beautifully carries the songs message and holds attention effortlessly. Accompanied by another powerfully spiraling video, it is a track that cements her place as one of the UK’s finest young talents; watch below
