Quirky pop tune "Awoo" continues SOFI TUKKER's golden streak
SOFI TUKKER unleash "Awoo", a swirling, psychedelic melee of Latin rhythms and dangerously infectious hooks.
Betta Lemme joins the fray on "Awoo", an otherworldly dance fusion splattered with clanking keys, ritualistic harmonies, and SOFI TUKKER's ludicrously addictive beats'n'bass combo. It sounds like something you'd hear at a top-secret speakeasy where everyone wears masks and cocktails are served in hollowed-out fruit.
"We wrote 'Awoo' with our friend, Betta Lemme, when we were all hanging out laughing by a piano, in a heightened state of goof," the duo say. "We have a whimsical dance to go along with it. It's one of our favorite songs to perform live."
"Awoo" follows "Matadora", "Hey Lion", and "Déjà Vu Affair" in previewing their upcoming Soft Animals EP, which is out on 8 July.
