Queen of da Pack Lulu Be drops first solo track “Rude Tings”
The artist formerly known as Leah Be., Chicago’s very own Lulu Be. has finally released her debut solo track.
Lulu Be. is the studio manager at Classik Studios in Chicago, where she met and began working with the producer, Lanre. This collaboration resulted in the eclectic dance track with enough bars to have hip hop fiends in love. The Afrohop tune “Rude Tings” brings a fresh new sound, displaying the artist’s upbeat and diverse style.
“I feel that this track really embodies who I am as a first generation Ethiopian girl from Chicago,” Lulu Be. explains. The track “has a little bit of everything. A little bit of afrobeats, a little bit of juke, and a lotta bit uh bars.”
