Girl Ray dazzle with new video for latest slacker-pop single "I'll Make This Fun"
Allow the North London-based power trio to show you around their diegetic world of rose-smelling, junk food-eating, and mere lounging around.
Having emerged early last year with debut single "Ghosty", Girl Ray have since kept relatively quiet until now. Just within the past few weeks, the trio recorded a session for Marc Riley's BBC 6Music show (which aired 3/3), played a sold-out show with Whitney in London (on 3/6), and dropped a promising new single entitled "I'll Make This Fun".
The single, proving to be an instance of endearing fuzz-pop that sports a down-and-out attitude, quite beauitfully features three-part harmonies courtesy of Sophie, Poppy, and Iris. All of this and more is fully realized in the accompanying video for "I'll Make This Fun", which was directed and filmed by Alex Cantouris.
We think its just as charming visually as it is sonically. Take a look below.
Girl Ray will also be playing a show with Fear of Men in Brighton at Prince Albert on Sunday 10 April.
