Posture race towards summer with debut single "I Just Can't Wait To See My Girl"
Longing for scorching sun and endless nights? With Posture's debut single, summer is so close you can practically taste it...
Hailing from the semi-fictional setting of Sour Coast, Posture describe themselves as “the sum of four teenage airheads plus boredom”, but one listen and it's clear this band are far more than empty heads with a lack of anything else to do.
"I Just Can't Wait To See My Girl" is the group's first single proper (following the release of "Bitter" and "Clementine" on an Echochamp compilation earlier this year). Breezing with sun-kissed euphoria, the track races towards summer with all the enthusiasm and heartfelt devotion they can muster.
It's surf pop at it's most shimmering, with waves of elation meeting chiming guitars and soaring vocals with the ceaseless energy of an inevitable tide. Sure, the holidays - and the girl in this song - may be some distance away still, but echoing with the promise of romance and adventure, summer has never sounded this exciting.
"I Just Can't Wait To See My Girl" / "Dreamin" is released via Beech Coma on 27 May, and is available to pre-order now.
