Pop duo Meadowlark grow gorgeous melodies on new track "Paraffin"
Bristol pair Meadowlark are sharing "Paraffin", the new single/title track from their upcoming EP.
Describing "Paraffin" as an "evolution", Meadowlark's Kate McGill and Daniel Broadley have nurtured melodic seedlings into lush, lofty canopies, building a tangled nest of slowly shifting sonic gold. As the second tick by, the song grows denser and mightier, eventually crescendo-ing in a vibrant outburst of love and pop. "Paraffin" is awash with shimmering seams of emotion and rich electronic tones, ushering in a new phase for Meadowlark.
The Paraffin EP is released 22 April via Believe Recordings. It follows last year's Dual EP, which was produced by Ant West of Oh Wonder.
