Watch: Polar Bear with Jin Jin - "Cuckoo" [Premiere]
Polar Bear's new single, "Cuckoo", which dropped out of nowhere earlier this month, gets its video premiere today on Best Fit.
Featuring playful dancing from rising artist Jin Jin who sings on the track, the video sees blackened visuals purposed to disorientate the eye as much as the mind. It's dark, foreboding and unforgiving stuff.
“I started to make ‘Cuckoo’ out of a section that I wrote for ‘Chotpot’ but didn’t use on the album", explains Polar Bear's Sebastian Rochford. Sampling Jin Jin's vocals on the band's Mercury nominated album, In Each And Every One, he later invited her back to collaborate on the ominous new single.
