Pinemen hit the spot with "That Certain Flavour" [Premiere]
From the moment the chiming guitars and hazy vocals kick in on Pinemen's "That Certain Flavour", winter couldn't feel further away.
"That Certain Flavour" is a marked contrast to the darkening days you'll find currently. Offering a two and a half minute venture along sun-kissed melodies and scorching refrains, the track meanders at its own carefree pace, whilst buoyant rhythms guide the way through breezy guitars and blissed-out vocals.
The second song to be released from Pinemen's debut EP (following "Essence Of Easy Going"), and the first song the band wrote together, "That Certain Flavour" resounds with an elation as contagious as the drum beats that drive it. If this is what the band can write in ten minutes together, what follows is an exciting prospect indeed.
