The versatile singer from Exeter makes introspective acoustic numbers that sway between early indie and ‘90s emo.
Peacock Affect’s music is best described as the soundtrack to a child's fantasy world. There is a purity that transcends the all too prevalent narcissism permeating solo performers of the indie variety, trading in arrogance for honesty and vulnerability.
It is evident that Peacock Affect is his own harshest critic, an artistic practice that often creates the most human work and in turn the most celebrated.
"Imaginary World" is out now.
