Patten launches new label, releases tape oddity

Patten, whose fascinating debut album GLAQJO XAACSSO featured on many year-end lists, is celebrating the inaugural release on his new label, Kaleidoscope.

‘Slime Code’ by London duo Sculpture, is a series of unique cassette dubs described by the label as “an exotic particle soup of pause button tape edits, varispeed action, VU busting tape saturation, freakform noise, grazing tape loop critters, and electronic rhythms.”

The tapes will be available to buy from Kaleidoscope tomorrow, along with a free digital version of ‘Slime Code’. Watch the video for the track below.
