Palehound teases debut album with fierce new track "Healthier Folk"
With a long-awaited debut seeing release this August, Palehound has shared a tormented taste in the form of "Healthier Folk".
Ellen Kempner's characteristic vocals are instantly recognisable, the driving force behind every twist and turn. "Healthier Folk" spirals as it rages, drawing you ever further into the distorted world that lies "over promised piles." Guitar riffs squall and ricochet whilst percussion shimmers and echoes. Choruses unwind and resound with misunderstanding and displacement, building into a rambunctious assault on the eardrums that leaves you feeling just as displaced as the personality-driven lyrics depict.
"Healthier Folk" features on Palehound's debut album Dry Food, released 14 August via Exploding In Sound.
