Pale Waves sew huge heart onto stadium-sized pop to create new song "My Obsession"
Manchester's Pale Waves have lifted the lid on expansive power-pop ballad "My Obsession".
The group's latest offering is soaked in emotion, with unrequited love and affection backed by drums torn from the '80s, bright guitar motifs, and sparkling electronics.
"My Obsession" follows previously released songs "There's A Honey" (one of our favourite songs of 2017), "New Year's Eve", and "Television Romance". The fast-rising Manchester group, signed to Dirty Hit (The 1975, The Japanese House), were recently selected for the BBC's Sound Of 2018 longlist.
Pale Waves will play a lengthy tour next year, kicking off in London at our new music showcase, the Five Day Forecast, on 11 January.
