Listen: Pablo Nouvelle feat. Tulliae – “Poison”
Nouvelle Vague enthusiast and one of Black Butters Records‘ latest signings, Pablo Nouvelle, has shared new track “Poison” featuring French-based artist, Tulliae.
Whilst only just getting its release, “Poison” has been around for a while, in one form as Tulliae’s 2012 original song “You’re a Poison” (where this new version’s vocals are lifted from). The blue tint that features in all the imagery that accompanies the Swiss producer’s music is reflected in the atmosphere created by his music. Adding melancholic synthwork and crunchy drum machine beats, Nouvelle only enhances the inherent sadness delivered by Tulliae in the potent central line: “You’re a poison/you’re not a human/you should die today”.
Pablo Nouvelle plays at Hoxton Square Bar & Kitchen, London tonight with Bo Saris.
