Directed by Only Real & Jack Newman (who’s directed videos for Katy B, Disclosure and Kindness), this chilled-out video for “Cadillac Girl” is a fitting match for the track’s slacker-like vibe.
Featuring Only Real and friends driving around London with shots of beaches and palm trees interspersed, it’s a stunning video that showcases what us Londoners have known for only too long: there’s no place quite like London in the summertime. With a vibe that veers on the edge of youthful carelessness, it feels like the perfect tribute to the track’s heavily wah wah FX guitars. When the chorus kicks in with “she’s so over me”, there’s a sense of seasonal bliss that’ll have you pining for the coming months.
