With a gloriously glitchy beat and minimalistic, repetitive vocals, "Dead Come Alive" is the perfect get-up-and-go weekend-beginning tune to set the wavelength for the weirdly wonderful night ahead.
Swerving in and out of raw electronica sounds and robotic noises, the experimental instrumentals depict the introduction, and experimentation with the drum machine, back in 1983. There's no doubt this track is infectiously crazy, dipping in and out of head-bopping moments to the unpredictable tension of strange goodness.
The softness of the vocals contrast excitingly to the glitchy beat, refreshing the modern electronica scene with some sci-fi from back in the day.
