Olivia Sebastianelli gives it all on explosive pop ballad "Oblivion"
Brighton-based Olivia Sebastianelli turns big pop balladeer on swoontastic single "Oblivion".
It's got '80s synths and choruses gushing with emotion - it's a definite scene stealer in any romantic movie, with its powerful beat and Sebastianelli's tremendous vocal performance.
“It’s about when you don’t realise the person you are with has overshadowed who you are,” explains Sebastianelli. “They don’t know who you are without them because they never really bothered to find out. It’s about that time, just before you end it with someone and it’s all a bit dark and everything they do makes you sad or angry because you can’t be with them anymore and just want to go back to who you are without them.”
Sebastianelli will be playing London's Notting Hill Arts Club on 2 October, and the Hoxton Bar & Kitchen on 27 October.
Listen to "Oblivion" below. It's out now via VDM, and will feature on her upcoming Take Control EP.
