Off Bloom go for gold on "Golden Dreams" and announce new EP
Fiery Danish three-piece Off Bloom share party track "Golden Dreams" ahead of Lover Like Me EP next month.
Following on from the release of live favourite "Shut Up And Let Me Walk" and Hudson Mohwake assisted "rockafe11a (Fuck That To Be Honest)", off bloom serve up more skewed pop greatness with a song about throwing caution to wind and getting drunk with your friends.
"Golden Dreams is about being intoxicated," the band explain. "It's about going out partying and not giving a damn. When you need to let off steam or get too caught up in your own life drama, just go out with your friends, drink beers and have fun. The song is about being in the moment and living life at it's most carefree, in a golden dream."
Playing on their signature sound, "Golden Dreams" will join the previously released singles on the upcoming five track release. The trio – Mette on vocals with Alex and Mads on production – found their feet together in Copenhagen, but recently relocated to London. On the EP they say, "this group of songs represents the last 3-4 months of our lives; our ups and downs, our fuck-ups and successes, our loves and losses."
Lover Like Me is the follow up to last year's Love To Hate It EP and standalone single "Falcon Eye". The collection sees the band refine their sound and reintroduce themselves as one of the most excting pop projects on the planet.
