L.A. "creative collective" NVDES shares "8am", the first track from upcoming debut EP Life With Lobsters.
Josh Ocean spearheads the experimental project, assembling a motley crew of voices and styles to create otherworldly pop like you've never heard.
"8am" is another curveball cut with electroclash synths, disjointed drops, noise-pop vocals, and J-pop adrenaline ricocheting between each beat - it's bursting with primal urges that switch off common sense, forcing you to act merely on impulse. It's the kind of track that quivers maniacally, teetering on the edge of total party annihilation, like a shaken-up can of Coke filled with confetti and nuclear waste.
The Life With Lobsters EP is out 18 November via B3SCI. Pre-order now.
