Norway's Emma Jensen embraces dramatic, delicate pop in new offering "Rush"
Norway's Emma Jensen pursues lust-filled pop with her ethereal vocals on new track "Rush".
The Norwegian singer/producer has all the components for making candy sweet pop. Her latest offering "Rush" is sugar coted, making the bad situation of 'feeling the pain' sound like a luxurious holiday.
Moving delicately between euphoric, angelic vocals and the contemporary, synth-heavy beat, the 22-year-old's new track transports you to a 80's infused fairytale-like setting, surrounded by pop gold dust.
Speaking about her new offering, Jensen said, ""Rush" is definitely different from my previous singles. It’s still very me, but more pop maybe? I think it’s just new inspiration from both listening to a variety of music and working with a lot of talented, cool people. I've for sure stepped out of my comfort zone and found confidence in the last year or two. I don’t think too much about what kind of music I’m making when I’m in the studio. It could be a really cool synth, big 80’s drums, a nice melody or just a weird sound. I just wanna do what feels good."
