Emerging UK RnB singer Noeva returns with the follow-up to her Radio 1 and 1xtra playlisted debut with the infectious “I Promise”.
The song’s centrepiece is its earthy beat, foot-stomping its way across soulful vocal harks and dancefloor-ready synths. An appearance from rapper Paigey Cakey provides some admittedly needed variation in the track, working to create a bridge between the song’s pounding rhythms and looped close.
“I Promise” is released on 7 April via Downing Street Records. It’s taken from Noeva’s debut EP Spacebound, set for release later this year.
