Listen: No Artificial Colours feat. Alex Mills - "Reach For Me"
Last year, Disclosure filled the void of a crossover dance act that also had some critical weight behind it. Now British producer duos can’t stop pouring in through the cracks. Arriving from the same label that’s released some of the Lawrence brothers’ material on top of Julio Bashmore, Jessie Ware and much more, PMR Records welcome house duo No Artificial Colours into their roster.
Having started off DJing around South East London and trying out different labels (Sinq, MadTech) with varying success, No Artificial Colours’ latest effort, “Reach For Me”, finds Lewis Wright and Ryan Ellis take their sound to the next level. The track’s elastic bassline, skittering snares and octave-hopping vocals from songwriter Alex Mills are more than compelling.
“Reach For Me” is released digitally and on 12” soon through PMR Records.
