Nilüfer Yanya today releases second EP Plant Feed, which features the prickly beauty of off-kilter acoustic number "Sliding Doors".
"Sliding Doors" joins "Golden Cage" and "The Florist" on the short-player, which follows lauded debut Small Crimes.
The final piece of the Plant Feed puzzle is peppered with muted plucks and breezy electronics - Yanya throws open the curtains on "Sliding Doors", letting sunshine beam in and illuminate every word and note. It's supremely chilled, especially when the jazzy woodwind flourishes peer in towards the end.
The Plant Feed EP is out now via Blue Flowers. A 12" edition is out 7 July.
