"NGFM" is the intriguing new track from Brighton’s Kudu Blue
“NGFM” - which we can only presume stands for “not good for me” - is the new release from Brighton-based 5-piece Kudu Blue.
The track is intricate, R&B-influenced pop with a soulful vocal. Kudu Blue draw on strong nineties and noughties influences - their echoing guitar lines and spacious reverb tap into of-the-moment nostalgia without drowning in it. The result is a track you’ll find yourself dancing to at the end of the night, still feeling good as the party starts to wind down.
“”NGFM” is about finding the strength within yourself to overcome the obstacles life can put in your way,” the band explain. “It's actually one of the first tracks we ever wrote together and has evolved over the past 18 months or so as we've grown as a band. We wanted to release it as this year draws to a close, and we look forward to 2017 and what the future holds."
