Nathan Ball channels fiery folk in new track “Right Place”
The London-based folk artist Nathan Ball has returned with "Right Place", and this time he’s not alone.
His trusty live band feature on his new track, and they all raise the bar together, adding enchanting tones and stripped-back, beautiful harmonies to the heart-wrenching track.
As the chorus peaks the melody brings the sun across the valley from the mountain that “Right Place” was first performed, urging listeners to embrace the environment around them.
Ball’s “Right Place” starts off as a simple folk track, developing into an armoury of electric instruments, escalating through the repetition of the chorus. Ball keeps his vocals calm and collected, adding an admirable simplicity to the folk track.
Ball plays at the Sebright Arms on 13 October with a full band. You can get tickets now.
