Natali Felicia brings the drama on "Easy Ride"
Three months since her debut track dropped, singer/songwriter Natali Felicia returns this week and it's one hell of a follow-up.
"Sonically I want to paint a somewhat melancholic and filmic picture,” says Felicia, "but still a world easy for someone to adapt to. A world providing the listener to start reflecting and finding its way into.”
"Easy Ride" brings the drama, hard and steady. It's a song that's brushed with a sense of mortality and the process of emotive trauma, with an expansive, fluttering heart with Felicia's grasp of melody and pace in songwriting setting it apart from the rest.
An ex-figure skater in her teens the woman formerly known as Natalie Bergqvist cut her teeth at open mic nights in Stockholm before signing to Polydor Sweden - and joining the likes of Tove Lo - earlier this year. The song will join her debut "Used To Be" as part of a future EP package with Johannes (Lykke Li, I Break Horses) Berglund on board as mixer.
