Brighton's NANCY teases forthcoming EP with fuzzy new offering “Orange Yellow Orange”
Brighton-based garage-rocker NANCY unveils his downtempo new cut “Orange Yellow Orange" in advance of next month's EP Happy Oddities.
Following on from his electric new-wave bop “Call Me On Your Telephone”, psychedelic rocker NANCY is back with “Orange Yellow Orange”, the second single released from his upcoming EP.
Known for his steeped-in-psychedelia bangers, sparky newcomer NANCY shows his softer side with synthy new taste “Orange Yellow Orange”. Capturing the perfect lo-fi sound, the new track's wavy synths and gentle percussive hits are the perfect foundation for the soothing whistle that welcomes you into this off-piste track. Hazy and gentle, Nancy’s voice breaks through the woozy production, effortlessly letting his tone do the talking.
Nancy · Orange Yellow OrangeSpeaking on his whimsical new bop, NANCY explains, “I wrote this during the midst of lockdown, thinking about all the things I couldn’t do. I’m an only child so am used to being alone, but once that privilege had been stripped for me I realised how much I take it for granted and how much I miss it. I’ll see you on the other side.”
