Mura Masa has just released his best song so far
Production wunderkind Mura Masa recruits A$AP Rocky for probably his best track yet - the calypso-tinged jazz-hop of "Love$ick".
The hotly tipped producer mixes seriously strong hooks with steel pans, jazzy beats and keys, and Rocky's on-point flow. It's addictively original - it's got all the hallmarks of an instant classic.
Speaking about the track, a remix of Mura Masa's "Lovesick Fuck", the 20-year-old producer says: "'Lovesick' has always been a favourite of mine, and Rocky is somebody who I've loved from the minute I heard his first mixtape, so the pairing of those two things is super exciting for me. London is like a second home to him too, so it's a privilege for me to be able to bring him closer to the UK music scene. I love what he did with the track, it brings totally new life and light to the song without losing its original theme of lovelorn frustration."
