Listen: Moon Boots - "There's No Love" [Premiere]
Citing Orlando Riva Sound’s 1977 dance classic – as opposed to tasteless, ski appropriate footwear – as the inspiration for his name, Moon Boots is the Chicago based beatsmith and DJ churning out sultry disco and house on Perseus’ French Express label
With a sizable back catalogue of releases (including a cracking rework of Bondax’s Gold), each of Pete Dougherty’s sun-drenched productions brings together influences of disco, dance, funk and house to brighten up the dark winter months.
Ahead of his UK tour with French Express next month – which will see him perform alongside fellow ‘Templars’ Jonas Rathsman and Isaac Tichauer – Dougherty shared an exclusive premiere of "There’s No Love" with Best Fit. Ballin’.
