Shedding the more delicate, prettified sound she was toting just two years back, Misty Miller is still in her teens but returns this month with something quite at odds with her former material.
The raucous ‘Girlfriend’ lifts liberally from several decades of rock n roll but thanks to some gusto on Miller’s part, doesn’t feel hackneyed or unnecessary. Best of all, it’s barely over two minutes long and if she can deliver a blast of equal fun in a live setting, we’re all ears for more…
