Harmony and chaos unite with MISOGI and Instupendo leading the charge on "forget–me–not"
Rising London-based producer MISOGI finds harmony with his talented friends on new EP little*stars.
An immense talent himself, the producer, vocalist and songwriter's latest project is the culmination of years of work. Led by "forget–me–not", a collaboration with indie electronic artist Instupendo, with all his new music we're certain not to forget him anytime soon.
Drawing on alternative, rock and forward-thinking electronica "forget–me–not" will be stuck in your head. An anthemic smorgasbord of influences it distils the far-reaching appeal of MISOGI's evolving soundscapes.
The EP boasts additional contributions from artists like Master Peace and No Rome on "Heart Chained" to 100 gecs' Dylan Brady on another new track "Empty Since 16".
Having been on an enlightening journey of musical exploration and discovery, MISOGI explains "all the elements from my previous projects have fused together in a sort of harmonious and unique way that I believe represent my journey best. I think the writing on this project is my best yet and speaks directly to my own experiences more so than any other project I’ve made."
With solo tracks bookending the EP, MISOGI shines just as bright when he's working in isolation. The personal nature of this project has been intensified by his choice to work with friends. "Most of the collaborators on this project are people that I consider close and have seen my journey from day one," he explains, "just as I’ve seen theirs, which makes this project just that bit more personal to me."
With songwriting and production cuts for the likes of AJ Tracey and Lil Yachty, MISOGI's sound and work – past and present – isn't bound to genre. MISOGI is already a cult favourite and with this EP this following is only bound to grow.
