Mind Enterprises announces debut album, reveals lead track "Idealistic"
Mind Enterprises, the brain-child of Turin-born, London-based musician Andrea Tirone recently announced his signing to Because Music (Metronomy, Major Lazer) with the tightly wound bedroom funk of "Chapita". Today sees Tirone reveal details on his full length debut album Idealist, sharing lead single and album opener "Idealistic".
Channeling the clubland spirit of Todd Terje and William Onyeabor’s loose-fit West African disco, "Idealistic" - according to Tirone - "introduces the main theme of the record which is about the interior struggle between reality and ideals. Also, musically it sums up the man elements that compose the sounds of the album, which I personally consider as a sort of futuristic disco funk.”
Idealist is released via Because Music on 5 February. Mind Enterprises plays his debut London show at the newly opened Moth Club on December 4.
