Crazy-haired Copenhagen-born Mercedes grew up in a Danish commune on a diet of Public Enemy, EPMD, Beastie Boys and free love.
Discovering her love for music at an early age, an interest in songwriting was piqued during a session with Alex James.
As one of several emerging talents from around the Danish capital (When Saints Go Machine, MØ), she’s poised for great things on the strength of debut ‘Live in the Speaker’, which meshes a swelling production with a closing lift from Coming to America.
Next up, she’s working with the likes of MNEK, who really can’t put a foot wrong right now…
