Leeds collective Menace Beach recently inked a deal with Memphis Industries to release their next EP Lowtalker in January next year.
First cut “Where I Come From” spotlit the gnarly, fuzz-peppered shared vocals of Ryan Needham and Liza Violet. Now “Fortune Teller” further emphasizes the pairing’s knack for entwining sweet/throaty harmonies. Anchored by a steady, thudding beat and the tolling of some gloriously retro keys, “Fortune Teller” cements the five-piece’s new record as one of early 2014′s key garage-pop releases.
Pre-order Lowtalker here and catch Menace Beach at The Social on 14 January.
