Meat Wave get extra terrestrial with new track "Symmy"
Embarking on a UK tour in support of new album Delusion Moon, Chicago trio Meat Wave have shared a new track online.
"Symmy" is the B-side to new single "Cosmic Zoo". Racing with the band's signature breakneck energy, the track takes flight to new heights as the band tackle the topic of whether or not we're alone in the universe.
"It's about the Phoenix Lights in the '90s, when a bunch of people saw a really huge UFO above the city and the governor played it off like nothing happened," Meat Wave say of the track's inspiration. "Look it up!"
"Symmy was recorded during the Delusion Moon session," they continue. "It was a really new song so we just kind of went for it."
Meat Wave are currently on tour across the UK. A full list of dates can be found here.
Delusion Moon is out now via SideOneDummy Records.
