Electro-RnB duo Marian Hill hail from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and make ice-cold, beautiful jazzy tunes suitable for the forthcoming winter season.
Jeremy Lloyd (producer) and Samantha Gongol (vocals), make up Marian Hill. While Lloyd and Gongol self-describe themselves as “a new electronic duo from Philadelphia,” it’s hard to immediately dub their blend of sounds as electronic and not be swept in by the obvious jazz, blues and RnB influences on their latest single. Lloyd provides a simple yet smouldering backdrop on ‘Lovit’ for Samantha’s soothing vocals, complete with jazzy snaps. After hearing their debut track ‘Whisky‘ in June, we can’t wait to hear what their forthcoming EP has to offer.
