Maja Francis explores colour in the clip for her euphoric debut "Last Days Of Dancing"
Maja Francis has unleashed the gorgeous visual accompaniment to debut single "Last Days Of Dancing".
Francis' voice has a pop gravity like Robyn's, an operatic quiver like Kate Bush, and a leftfield mystery like Petite Meller; while there are points of reference, she's clearly got a bold vision for herself, as evidenced by the intoxicating video for "Last Days Of Dancing", an anthem for the hysteria borne from an impending apocalypse. Sheila Johansson directed the clip, which explores exotic colours through nature and runway fashions. It's a visual treat that matches Francis' euphoric debut.
Francis is the latest signee to Sweden Music/Universal Music, the home of Seinabo Sey.
