Machines In Heaven reveal visuals for "8034" ahead of Glasgow date with Matias Aguayo
Glasgow noise trio Machines In Heaven have unveiled the video for "8034" ahead of a show supporting Chilean producer Matias Aguayo in Glasgow tomorrow night.
Taken from the band's second album Phenomenology, "8034" is seven-plus minutes of electronica showcasing the Glaswegians' more intense side. Starting with time-shifted, slowed and broken-down Krautrock the track soon shifts into gear with a circular post-rock firework riff which gathers unstoppable momentum. For the remainder of the track the guitars wage a war against terrific ear-bleeding synth noise, before everything collapses in on itself.
"8034" has a suitably frenetic, Blair Witch-style found footage video to accompany, which you can watch below.
As mentioned, Machines In Heaven will play Glasgow's Nice 'N' Sleazy venue on Tuesday 13 September supporting Matias Aguayo and The Desdemonas. Tickets are available.
Machines in Heavens' Phenomenology is out now via Hot Gem.
