Mabel shows exceptional flair on new track "Finders Keepers"
Mabel ushers in forthcoming EP Bedroom with new single "Finders Keepers", which opens with a verse from up and coming MC Kojo Funds.
“I’m English, Swedish and Sierra Leonean, and it was important for me to begin to explore my mixed roots musically," explains singer-songwriter Mabel McVey. She begins to do just that on latest release "Finders Keepers", which she explains "is really about letting go and not overthinking."
"Finders Keepers" follows last year's incredible "Thinking About You", setting Mabel up nicely for her forthcoming debut EP Bedroom, set for release later in the year.
The new track mixes things up as McVey steers away from the more straight-forward, smooth pop of her first singles. Adding dancehall and tropical flavours to the R&B jam, it's summer ready - and hopefully just in time for the weather to turn.
