Lyla Foy used to perform as WALL, but recently decided she didn’t need a moniker.
Since rebranding herself with a more person flavour, she has signed to Sub Pop and now presents “Easy”, a gorgeous slice of warmth for wintry nights.
This personal turn in Foy’s career translates over to her lyricism on the track, bemoaning the choice of staying or going, layered over organ sounds that feel completely tailored for those chilly November walks home.
“Easy” is released as a double A-side with another track, “Head Down”, via Sub Pop on 9 December.
