Listen: Los Porcos - "Waterfalls"
Los Porcos are a breezy and laid back disco/funk outfit and have spent a large part of 2013 releasing tunes that would be perfectly suited for a pig-filled ‘New Pork’-based Scarface.
The collective, consisting of ex-Wu Lyf members, are renowned connoisseurs of layered retro-sounding compositions mixed in with beats that will make you boogie down-town.
With their latest track, “Waterfalls”, the band have taken a more suave, refined approach, veering into yacht rock surroundings. The track is a slow-paced instrumental, filled with the twinkling guitars that are a signature of Los Porcos’ sound, and dilating synths and oohs that enrich and lavish the track’s backdrop. The light, bouncy rhythm section compliments and uplifts this dreamy, tropical excursion, with the added sound of running water to top it all off. Listen below.
