London-based VRWRK unify in lustrous, tropical offering "Different Crowd"
London-based electro-pop trio VRWRK find passionate tones in their intensely tropical release "Different Crowd", and reveal details of their debut album.
VRWRK are Belgian producers Matt Sey and Jergan Callebaut, and London-born graphic designer/vocalist Salem Khazali.
Sewn together by their upbeat electronica, "Different Crowd" sees both producers approach this single with more of a tropical influence, incorporating subtle steel drums and beach-ready synths that shade you from the heat of Khazali's vocals.
Filled with desire, Khazali's vocal delivery is silky smooth, seducing the sun and alluring it to the horizon as the paradisiac melody takes control.
In line with their new track, VRWRK have also announced their debut album, On The Outside.
Speaking about their forthcoming debut, VRWRK explained, "On The Outside served as a catharsis for the three of us. It’s about personal development through eye-opening moments inside and outside our passionate relationships. It is about how we tend to project an idea to others; how this turns into a self-fulfilling prophecy, about how people want to see us, who people want us to be, what they want from us."
"The album captures the feeling of being alone while being surrounded by people. The inner struggles from being in a relationship or outside relationships. Being on the outside refers to the negative space of our ‘inner self’."
