Lois reveals ALEX, a two-track Valentine's Day single "created from love"
Spanish moody new-wave wunderkind Lois has droped two surprise tracks - "Nu-Friends" and "Rouge" - just in time for the yearly day of love.
Packaged as a single under the title ALEX, the tempo-shifting, warped songs blend his comforting (and always disarming) baritone vocal with beautifully woozy guitar lines and were "created from love" according to his Facebook page. The songs are dedicated to two different people - both named Alex: a former girlfriend, and a new male friend with whom he shared the breakup pain with.
"ALEX is all about ending a harsh part of life ("Nu-Friends") and starting again ("Rouge")," says Lois. "Also about how we fool ourselves through anger and joy. Choose one and stay with that for some time. And yeah, about love..."
There's sitll no sign of a solo album yet from the Trajano! frontman but we're living in hope. We still have very fond memories of his 2015 debut track "Before You".
