Rising hip-hop collective Lo Stesso make their mark with poignant new offering "Wax & Wane"
We don't know an awful lot about mysterious collective Lo Stesso, except that they are three lifelong friends who share a collective creative vision to make an impact.
The Southend-On-Sea trio of creatives work as a collaborative outfit, where each helps to piece together the different parts of the production, songwriting and filmmaking process. The end result of this collaborative process is as stunning as it is impactful.
They first got ears pricked in their direction with the immense "Oxygen" back in 2018, but with their newest offering "Wax & Wane", which comes as the second of six singles that are due to drop this year, they step everything up a gear. The beats get darker, the flows are harder and the production is razor-sharp.
Ultimately, "Wax & Wane" marks the collective out to be a truly exciting new prospect, where elements of hip-hop, neo-soul and rap are effortlessly entwined to mesmerising effect whilst the spellbinding accompanying visuals continue to follow the journey of the three central characters who are on a one-way road to self desctruction.
