Lo Moon air mesmerising new three-act track "This Is It"
Los Angeles-based trio Lo Moon are back with glimmering new tune "This Is It", a soaring monument to "realisation, desperation, and hope."
It's the group's second stellar offering following the impressive "Loveless" that arrived back in March. "This Is It" is certainly weightier, drizzling grand dream-rock manoeuvres onto gravity-laden emotional statements, but it's still capable of launching into the stratosphere when the chorus hits.
"'This Is It' is built on three different acts or stages of a relationship - realisation, desperation, and hope," explains frontman Matt Lowell. "In the two verses I wanted to focus on shining a different light on the meaning of 'this is it' when each chorus hit. The first verse deals with the idea of 'parallel love', the second is the realisation you may not be able to 'save this', and the mantra in the middle is the glimmer of hope that life goes on."
Lo Moon will be supporting Glass Animals and Air in the States next month, with plans to return to the UK later in the year.
