LIZ drops new Cross Your Heart mixtape featuring Vic Mensa
LIZ has today dropped a 33-minute mixtape featuring vocals from Vic Mensa and production from Lido, Mess Kid, and Henrik The Artist.
The L.A.-born PC Music collaborator has kept a low profile since the release of Columbia Records debut "When I Rule The World", but she's back now with a whopping 16 tracks.
The tape shows off a huge range of styles, from all-out pop to hyperactive dance to sleek early-'00s R&B. Vic Mensa appears on the organ-led "All Good"
Cross Your Heart has been released alongside a shoot with Nicopanda.
“I've always had an element of fantasy to my music and visuals, and this next era is going to be more wild and experimental than ever,” LIZ says. “I feel like my music represents today's modern girl - blending multiple genres that have come out of different movements to create a concoction perceived today as 'mainstream pop'. Nicola Formichetti has been a seminal influence to pop stars over the last decade - driving pop culture forward - so I was very honoured to collaborate with Nicopanda. With Cross Your Heart, I’m excited to be sharing a taste of what's to come in the near future.”
