Liv Dawson hits home on stunning new track "Painkiller"
Liv Dawson continues her impressive winning streak with majestic HONNE-produced number "Painkiller".
"Painkiller" follows the likes of "Still", "Open Your Eyes", and "Reflection" in introducing the world to Dawson's immense talent. The 19-year-old newcomer has wowed crowds all summer, and caps off an impressive few months with a soulful dance-pop gem that grips you by the heartstrings and gives them a powerful yank.
"[The single] is about that feeling we’ve all had, waking up from the night before having poured your heart out; reflecting on what was said and the emotions that stirs," Dawson explains. "I saw Jake [Davies] in The Missing and knew I wanted him to be in the video: he was incredible at acting out those sombre feelings left from the hangover of the night before. Working with HONNE also came so naturally, they’re like two older brothers now, and amazing at what they do."
