New Zealand dream-fuzzers Yumi Zouma have pulled the trigger on new cut "Alena", released today on Cascine.
There's a vibrant, chill-pill pulse that ripples through their limpid pools of loveliness. There's a hint of Mausi in the Balearic-y twangs that Yumi Zouma had found alongside added confidence. It's sadly too late to embrace among summer sun, but perhaps if we screw up our eyes real tight, we can pretend that these chilly mornings are afternoons on the beach.
The band will play a UK show 10 November at London's Birthdays.
