It seems like just a few moments ago that we were revelling in the irresistible tones of Wild Belle’s first single ‘Keep You’, but in fact a whole summer has passed since that appeared, and now Elliot and Natalie Bergman are returning to present their latest effort.
‘It’s Too Late’ is the new single from the pair, and will be released next week via Columbia Records. A perfect soundtrack for the closing days of summer, ‘It’s Too Late’ combines sultry, soul-tinged vocals with an understated, marching melody constructed of lilting guitar strokes and a whole heap of sass. And then they hit us with the sax solo – what more could we want?
The Chicago duo will be winging their way to the UK to play a series of shows at London Fashion Week (fancy!), and are set to return to our leafy shores for another run of shows in November. We’ll let you know when and where as soon as we find out, but for now, have a listen to ‘It’s Too Late’ and ponder the exciting sounds to come from this pair.
‘It’s Too Late’ will be available through Columbia Records on 17 September.
