Listen: Vladimir – “Born Slippy” (Underworld cover)
Dundee-natives Vladimir bring their own interpretation of scotch guitar melancholy to the post-punk table.
Their latest single “Born Slippy” (Underworld cover) is a symphonic maelstrom of morose shimmer guitar stabs, regimented attack-cease drum marches, and a brazen Ian Curtis (Joy Division) style vocal that pleads to the Heart and Soul.
Despite still in the delicate grip of adolescence, Vladimir bestow a musical maturity beyond their years.
“Born Slippy” is out as a digital release on the 7 April.
