In today’s Exciting Afternoon News: Mute will be releasing a three CD boxset of unreleased material from kraut founding fathers and Stockhausen proteges Can. The collection has been pieced together from forgotten tapes made between 1968 and 1977, and was curated by Irmin Schmidt and Mute boss Daniel Miller. Have a listen to the opening track below – and marvel at the fact that this was recorded 35 years ago.
The Lost Tapes is out 18 June.
